Walter left town this morning and isn't coming back until tomorrow night. So.....I am celebrating not being any older. My inner six year old is dancing with glee. There's nobody around to tell her not to do it.
Before I go any further, I forgot to add a note to the posts about the wicker tutorial.
Always save all of the short pieces of wire that you cut off of the ends. They are all useable. The poor old table that you see in this photo and also the sewing basket are examples of what can be done with the leftovers.
I just thought that you might want to see. The sewing basket has a base of one of the Woodsies circles and the table top was a small piece of walnut that I saved from the scrap heap.
Anyway, this is how I am partying!
I decided to take on a seven foot(") sofa in wicker to celebrate.
It took me all morning to do the cutting, drilling and wire insertion....Now let the fun begin!
If one sofa doesn't work, make another...That's my motto. I also think that I am going to change the wall color in the living room. It always looks blue in the photos and I don't particularly like that shade of blue. It's not what I was trying for.
Well.....So much for not gaining another year! Tessie and Zar just told me Happy Birthday and shoved a piece of cake in my mouth from their "endless" cake. The cake is good, but not the birthday.
I am going to go play with wicker and sulk now.
See you tomorrow.....I will not get older. I will NOT get older. I WILL NOT GET OLDER!!!

Belated UN-birthday greetings, Casey! I've not been online for about a week and this morning I got myself "caught up," and see that I missed your big day in the process.
